GAIN has established a consistent record of enabling not-for-profit agencies and their members to significantly
lower their costs on certain supplies and services. The savings realized remain current
and increase as members utilize more aspects of the program. GAIN monitors every
sector of the marketplace to ensure that their offerings continue to be the best they can possibly be.
The Group Acquisitions Initiative Network (GAIN) was established in 1996
to support and assist not-for-profit organizations across Canada. Today it is the sector’s largest and
most successful affinity program. Its clients include hundreds of Agencies and Associations, their Staff, members and
Volunteers - all benefitting from the program.

FSNA Peel-Halton & Area Branch has been accredited as a member of the "group purchasing program", called GAIN. In addition to providing savings
on a number of operational needs, GAIN provides a Long Distance rate program for your home and/or cell phone use. This plan entitles you to a rate of
(as at October 22, 2009)$.039/minute anytime, for calls within Canada and to the USA, in addition to great International rates with no added fees or contracts.
Billing is calculated using 6 second increments, rather than the typical 1 minute or 30 second segments in other plans -- which can accrue further
savings to you. GAINtel has lowered its rates 4 times in the past 4 years, and will continue to drive down rates for all its clients - as the market permits.
This program is also available for your cell phone and can be accessed from 69 cities across Canada, using an interconnect number.
Please note: At this time this service is not available for calls from within the USA to Canada, although GAIN is working with its
technical support group to address that issue.
To apply for the GAINtel program please download the attached information sheet and application form - complete it and fax it to the number indicated on
the form. If you do not have access to a fax then just call the number indicated on the information sheet and you can arrange to mail the application
to their office.

GAIN can, depending on the demand of our Branch members, provide access to other savings programs including, but not restricted to:
- Mortgage Services (access to 40 lenders and consultants through submission of one application);
- Grand & Toy discount cards - 10 Percent discount at check-out;
- Pharmaceutical Service (Doctor submits prescription to their service - medication is then delivered to your home at no extra charge; the possiblity of
shipping medication to your US destination exists.

available.
